I would have never thought to blog about Oratane. Well not about Oratane, but what happens when you use Oratane. My best friend suggested that I share my experience. She noted that I was basically going into this blindly, without any real advice and stories. That is what I want to achieve with this blog. Even if only one person reads this. I want to share my story and give advice because I know that I sure as hell needed some.
I started using Oratane almost three weeks ago. Now, I never had to wear a stitch of makeup, ever. My skin was crystal clear. But three months ago something went horribly wrong with my hormones and I just got a nasty, flaming red, acne breakout. I waited for a month before going to the dermo, I thought it would clear up, but alas,it didn't and she put me on Oratane straight away.
I cried every single day for the first two weeks. It is hard. Don't let anybody tell you that it is not that bad. Unless they are or were in your shoes they wont know what it feels like.
This is a healing process. A 6 month healing process. After the Oratane I'm inline for some facial lazer treatments. It's not fun, but in the end it will be worth every tear and bad day.
